OMG-talk about sweating it out!  Castellano gets Winter Memories stuck behind a wall of horses and then when clear- whoosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is the BEST turf filly/mare in the US- of any age! I just love her!

She's not going to the Breeder's Cup - next start and last for 2011, is the QE at Keeneland , where she will face Summer Soire, another good 3 yr old turfer (speed) and then they are putting her away and bringing her back as a four yr old ....the plan is to run in the BC F and M turf next yr when she is more mature as she is still growing.....

yep----and that's why castellano was on her- lezcano would have stayed behind the wall...and she IS a powder keg- i can't remember the last time i saw a filly with such explosive power....most closers, like zen and blind luck,just wear em down and go by, but winter explodes under hand rides....and they don't even know what she can actually do if asked.....i hope we find out next year -perhaps against males?  exciting!  i also feel he took her back to next to last on purpose to settle her - she gets real keen when up near the front to middle of the pack .....

Yes. Some guy at youtube said that it was a horrible ride. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, right or wrong. I am not sure what he expected the rider to do.
