with any luck ill be attempting a same day 2 track trip.  Chester-Pocono or even possibly a Chester-Vernon with an assured re-visit to Vernon on the 16th (cabin is ~50 minutes away)

Looks like Erin Elliot has taken ownership to lots of horses . Whatever ever happened to the owner George D. who had at least 15 horses racing in Illinois . Has he gone bust with the falling purses or has he just lost interest . He had several trainers including Searle , Elliot , Oosting , Farmer and a few others . Seemed like nice guy who enjoyed winning races . He had a little crew who seemed to picture mooch when he won races .
