They finally got that stiff Goodell off of "Giddy Up" (yes, he did drive him very well for a stretch at Younkers, But the last few DRIVES, not the horse, were terrible). I think Dube can upset with him.

That's got to be one of the most out-of-form FFA races ever carded. The best last race was put in by One More Laugh, who put in a 52:4 final half at Chester, but still lost to Weekend Gambler. No wonder Trick Man beat the FFAs at the Meadows on Adios day.  |

As my Friend from Maine(Ora Stratton) says "There are horse trainers, and then there are real "Hoss" trainers.

Look hard at his last race.
Parked no cover, never headed leader.
His second qtr. was :26 3/5
His 3rd qtr. was :26 2/5.
Those are middle panels of :53 flat.
His last qtr. was :27 3/5
Much better race than it looked.
Much better.

I can't throw ANYONE out of that race. Heck, if they put Comical Star A and Roburascal in there, I'd have to consider them.

I'd say he gets his head kicked in with this bunch but I've been wrong before. Some nice horses in this race, I like Hypnotic Blue Chip in this one.

Dube had the horse 10 wide in the grandstand just like Goodell at Northfield. |

WTW is just not an elite horse anymore IMO, with the trip he had off of that speed duel he should have won by more than a neck.
