I chimed in on two of those threads to suggest that he lay off the kids.

I also pointed that Pena was the tip of the iceberg and made rather specific reference to the Allard issue. I even mentioned Winky Mello having won at a higher percentage than Pena after going out on his own.  Winky was clean as a whistle.

Additionally, I pointed out that the big problem with Pena at Yonkers was the short mutuels his horses paid.

But, whatever... carry on, it's all good, a little free-floating rage benefits everyone, I guess. 

Now back to the main topic: WIZ IS MISSED.

I have had the pleasure of meeting and breaking bread with the Wiz.  He is a terrific guy... witty, urbane, knowledgeable, funny and loyal... everything you'd want in a friend, and I am privileged to call him mine.  I can assure you that I've been banned from more boards than he has (most of them left-wing Canadian and having nothing to do with racing... though that's another story for another time ).


I hope he is indeed back here, post haste.

I am new here but not to other such venues. Wiz adds much to the content of any equine related public forum. I have never had the slightest problem with Wiz. I have never seen him respond with anything less than courteous and informative posts _unless_ a less than courteous response was directly or subtly invited.

As long as public forums exist there will be personality conflicts. I don’t envy a moderator’s job in dealing with these conflicts – but, the heat of conviction makes for good press and keeps the game afoot.

McElwyns Danger  Thankyou for asking about Stiffler.
His groom Pauly took a job with Rick Plano and went East with Rick.
Stiffler was never the same when Pauly left. Pauly is the greatest harness groom I have ever had. I miss him as much as my boy Stiffler.
Stiffler will not be returning to race unless I can find another Pauly.
Stiffler was on 3 legs after his last race for about 5 days. I cannot allow any horse of mine to suffer like that. I have never owned a horse that wants to be a race horse more than Stiffler. He  has such a wonderful disposition I just love being around Stiffler. He is in my front yard chasing the dear and turkeys calling to the local mares.
I am not even sure their will be harness in California any more.
So Stiffler will just have to be satisfied in being a very pretty yard peace.

She does that all the time - just drop by to slam other posters. So, that would put Fuzz in the wrong in your opinion. Without knowing the history, I will assume the quoted statement is accurate. If that initial action is wrong then anyone repeating it in reverse would also be in the wrong.

Believe me when I tell you that I am not just another trouble maker -- the seemingly uninvited attack 'here' against a member I know from other venues bothered me to the point I felt a response was in order (my sense of right/wrong I suppose would be accurate -- that, regarding the whole thread and not just your post).

Later I put her on ignore and quit replying to her gibberish posts, because I found her forum contributions here for the most part worthless - nothing but a combination of "I love horses more than you" and out-of-the-blue negative judgments of other posters' characters and sins. You got it Thanks for asking you know me as any proud mother cannot wait to talk about their children.
The breeders of Hydro came to me and asked me to please give him back to them.
They own his father who has been gelded.
I couldnt resisted their love for this gorgeous horse. He was given back to Katie Scott.
they love him and he is with his sire in a pasture and they look like twins I explained to them what a beautiful pair they would make as a matching hitch. Hydro is back with his very own family and loving life on 92 acers.
Now Knights Fruition is another story he is on his way to Golden Gate as we post.
