Here we go. I did like clockerterry's suggestion and Beau Narro's. Off Stride's to was okay but I'm not going with trivia. Although I did consider it. FOLK'S were going to play BOTTOM DWELLER. A concept John Frank and Robert V. conceived 5 years ago and lo and behold last year Gulfstream used it as a NTRA qualifier. I'D LIKE TO KNOW WHERE THEY CAME UP WITH THAT IDEA?...... Here's the concept. I'm going to pick 4 races on Saturday the 22nd of April. They will be big fields. Contestants must select a rat they think will finish last. You get 3 points if your dog finishes last. 2 if it finishes next to last and 1 if it 3rd to last. If your pig scratches you automactically recieve the longest odds. There will be know couplings allowed. You must use name of rat and not number. I won't use cheap claimers. Your entry must be posted here under contest and be in by 12.00AM eastern Saturday the 22nd. I will select the races Thursday the 20th. ..... Prizes. Winner gets a Arlington Park season pass. 2nd and 3rd get 10 free Arlington passes. Any ties will be on a flip of coin elimination. I will have impartials, flip and boil it down. If anyone in contention wants to be at official coin toss, that can be arranged. I will set that date. Any questions?

Sir Blockhead should be disqualified and placed last. John Frank did not say he was picking Gulfstream races. I will participate as an aspirant.

Clarifaction on 2 points. (1) I'm using Army time. That's 1200 hour Saturday or noon for those who don't understand. (2) If your horse breaks down in race YOU LOSE. You have to at least stumble across finish line. OK now for the races. All MAIDEN SPECIAL WEIGHTS. Tampa Bay,3rd. Hawthorne,2nd. Aqueduct,6th. Santa Anita,11th. Good luck handicapping.

CLOCKERTERRY, I was going to go with Spectacular Jr. also but didn't want to appear if I was looking over your shoulder while you were handicapping.

No one will think any less of you. P.S. For $2 I will sell you the names of my "price specials" in those races. For some reason, when I bet $$$ on my price specials they have an uncanny knack of finishing last.

John Frank, I'm making an entry in your contest "just for fun".
Tampa R3 - Spectacular Jr. Hawthorne R2 - tough race, I'll go with Smilin Justice Aqueduct R6 - Little Moishe SA R11 - Crow Autumn I am reasonably pleased with my effort. Spectacular Jr. - a nice 2nd last at 58-1, done in by the #3 Soka. Smilin Justice - a troubling 4th place finish Little Moishe - "eased" in the stretch at 137-1 says the chart. A DNF? - (It looked like such an easy loser coming off the turn.) Crow Autumn - dead last, at 93-1

OK everyone thanks for participating. As for results,I will have to check charts and see who did not finish. That might be Little Moishe. In any event it might look like Nwaryas wins anyway. But he might be disqualified. I have to check. I believe he has a license, which allows him to get in free.

tuff choice john, you will probably go by what is in the form, as there are conflicting opinions on the web.. nyra has him listed as 99 lengths behind ..equibase has him as eased with no finish mentioned .. oh well thats what you get paid the big bucks for..to make management decisions

My final decision will be posted tonight the 23rd. Nwaryes is declared ineligible as he holds a license. Looking at Aqueduct charts they have no splits for stretch. Usually that means vanned off.

Final Judgement.... I took it to the Supreme Court and that be ME. Hank I respect the fact that you think you saw horse make it to finish line. But in all due respect, horses that finish that far behind are always vanned or walked off. So the order of FINISH WILL BE. WINNER OF SEASONS PASS. VCAKERMAN. Winner of 2nd and 3rd for 10 daily passes. New Fire Picks and Ryonker. To Hank, Mark Maegc, and Glahn. I've decided to award 10 free daily passes also. The 3 of you will have to wait until opening day Arlington, before recieving. In any event,I need you all to message me. I would rather deliver in person with proper identification.
