The Meadowlands, Thursday night May 26, race 4 post 8 Silent Partner

$100 to place in the contest

the only thing that stops me from betting win (will use in exotics top and bottom personally) is the fact that the horse is making its first pari-mutual start

well meant horse finally making his first non-qualifying start at 3, missed his 2 year old season, this half brother to Sportswriter (8 for 14 lifetime) and Incredible Beauty (11 for 32 lifetime) makes his first attempt to earn back his $120,000 Lexington purchase price where Mr. Baron and partners had to outbid Casie Coleman and others. The mother is from a very well bred family including Sprig Hanover and Swinging Beauty who finished 2nd to See You At Peelers last Sunday.

coming off 2 qualifiers where he won by 14 and 15 lengths and the driver didn't "squeeze the lemon", this horse is well meant but you never know until he does it and I'm not sure there isn't another good one in the race, hence the place wager but he could just as easily run off the screen

posting about 11 hours to the race but I have been accused of past posting so you never know what I'll be accused of next

Good luck with your picks Harry.

On a different note, don't get so worked up over Sam (Macdaddi).
Just use him for your amusement. Sam is known for telling lies.
Why do you think he has been banned from other harness forums?
For telling lies. He was banned from In The Sulky for telling lies.
The best lie of all was his story about General MacArthur.

Strange thing about Sam is that he says he studies programs for hours daily, and all he can find are 2.10 show bets?
You could train a monkey to find 2.10 show bets. It takes no skill.

I would have more respect for him if he gave out some longshots, like 10-1 shots. At least I would know he knew how to handicap a race.
But handicapping 2.10 show bets takes no skill.

Sam will probally report this post to the moderator and have it removed and myself banned.

Good luck to all.

Ronnie Pierce and Josh Green are both pretty high on Silent Partner.  He's pretty heavily staked including the Meadowlands Pace.  He has some soundness issues, but also a load of ability.   Not sure how they are going to race him first out, but will win if they give him a chance.

He was fully staked in his 2 year old season which he never raced, and a lot of money has been spent staking him as a 3 year old, not to mention the $120,000 price tag.  I know the owners are eager to start getting some return on this investment and expect a big try.

just missed

-$80 in the contest today

+$195.00 so far

I'm not going to say I had the exacta a ton and made money, not the point or the truth, the best thing about the contest is to point out live horses for others to consider and people  don't really have that advantage when posting maybe 10 - 20 minutes to post

he was live, was flying at the wire, needed a few more feet

nice pick Harry.  I though Pierce handled him a little conservitivly for most of the mile, but had a lot of pace late in a pretty quick mile.  Horse will only get better from here.

that's what I looks for, live horses

posting them at 10 minutes to post doesn't really benefit anyone else unless they're lucky enough to log in just at that time
