Gotta get my fill of Vernon this weekend, next weekend I will be in St. Petersburg for the Science Festival. I drew the short straw and ended up with the duty of representing the company.

It is supposed to get sunny around 4PM and in the 60's the track should be extremely fast tonight.
How fast will Dry Gulch go tonight? 149.3 is my guess.

Under the ideal conditions you have desrcibed I expect the leading oats hay and water trainer in the business to have Dry Gulch ready to go in 1:44.2.
If however it comes up rain for whatever reason I will say 1:46.2

I've gotta a lot of roots in Vernon. Living and racing there has never been a science experiment. Watching and gambling from a far may be different.

Good that you are not in a prison ... and only in a "position" not to gamble. We were concerned.

That drive by Bill Bailey really baffles me. Was glued to the helmet of the 1 all the way down the lane. I hate wondering what the horse would have done if he would have fed him race track.
