All good, all for charity, IMO.

No DQ's today, and everybody gets an ice cream sammich and a short nap before the Derby.

I for one have no objection.

I know I've already broke one rule we had before, about getting them all in before post #1. DQ me if you want.

It's not a hardcore, official tournament. Though I did write up eight pages of official rules, I'll keep them to myself Smiley

Anyone willing to make a charitable contribution can jump in whenever they want and start climbing up from $0.

Okay here's the first three that might go off before I roll out of bed, or have my coffee:

Race 1 - #4 Uncle Pink
Race 2 - #4 Worldly
Race 3 - #2 Golden Triumph

If any of these are scratched, subs #5.

The rest tomorrow.
Two for two, nice start Terry.  That is unless we toss those first two races for Swoop Daddy's benefit, j/k.

you tried to scratch him this morning. lol  i knew he was live. mucho was good but just got outfooted. a very havable tri in a wide open contest. how about barry irwin's comment after the race on why he went with motion? he said he wanted a trainer that doesnt lie to him. not exactly a ringing endorsement for some past employees of team valor.

I used him in my exacta box based on the breeding for distance. Left out Nehro, though.  doh

He made my third tier.  i didn't bet.  if the Spiral had been worth a little more money he would have moved up for me. That's horse racing.

Terry's the winner for today's contest -- missing a place price in the finale as the feed just went dead and the results weren't up, but he didn't need it anyway.

Once I get cash collected, Terry will be able to choose where I'll send it.

Congrats on the good work, Terry!

ETA: $4 place to close out the day, for a grand total of $50.20

Final standings:
Terry - $50.20
Mick - $27.80
Brian - $22.60
Horse Voice - $21.60
Commander - $17.80
Don Pietro - $15.80

Congratulations to Terry, nice handicapping.   I was lucky to get off the shnide on the second to last race.

I must admit I got a thrill watching Shackleford make his move on the last turn, only to see him wilt in the last 100 yards.

I should be at AP tomorrow Brian and I am good for a $20.

P. S. My husband and I had the Derby winner.  It was that Palm Meadows angle I mentioned a while back here on the forum.  I put money on three  Cheesy of them that wintered there this year.  I decided to do that instead of going into exotics.  It was a good idea.

Thanks for running the contest Brian.

I'd like the $$ to go to an ITHA charity fund aimed at assistance for the backside help. I think they have one or two. If all else fails, give it to the pastor back there.

Now if I wasn't working all the time including right now, I might of had money on the Shack.  I mentioned to a coworker that the shorter distance, tight turns and surface would all help him.   Congratulations to Dale Romans and the team.
