The Chancellor, Andy Miller headline Harrah's Boulevard, Northeast Extension series
from Harrah's Chester publicity department
While Tim Tetrick dominated Monday and Tuesday afternoon at Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack, the Wednesday (December 1) afternoon program saw Andy Miller crush his fellow drivers, scoring four wins on the afternoon.
One of them came aboard his own The Chancellor ($4.20), a trotter he co-owns with the Arden Homestead Stable. The four-year-old son of Yankee Glide was a 2-1/2-length winner in his first-round division of the Harrah's Boulevard Late Closing series for older trotters, braving a first-over trip to win in 1:55.1 over a good track. Andy's wife Julie handles the training duties of The Chancellor, who wore down Dink Adoo (George Napolitano) on the last turn before holding off a belated rally from And Heez Perfect (Tim Tetrick).
The fastest of the trotters, however, was Winning Mister, who dominated in a pillar-to-post 1:53.0 effort under Matt Kakaley despite a sloppy track caused by heavy rains earlier in the day. Salutation Hanover ($9.60, Yannick Gingras, 1:56.0), A Gentleman ($6.80, George Napolitano, 1:55.4), and A Crown for Lindy ($10.80, Tim Tetrick, 1:56.4) also won their respective $25,000 divisions of the Harrah's Boulevard.
Andy Miller also took two $20,000 divisions of the Northeast Extension series for pacing fillies and mares, aboard Star Keeper ($13.20) for a 1:54.3 win and Four Starz Skate ($34,000) who was victorious in 1:55.4. I-Lady ($5.60, Jim Meittinis, 1:54.3) and Fortunes Smile ($47.00, George Napolitano, 1:54.3) round out the winners of the Northeast Extension series.
Road to Riches action at Harrah's Chester continues on Monday, December 6, with second-round Blue Route and I-95 events on tap. First post is 12:45 p.m. eastern time.
