Slots voted down in Massachusetts

Well, the gambling gods couldn't convince the stingy MA politicians. 2000 slots at the 4 racetracks was voted down. The one good thing in my eyes is that they extended the simulcasting law to the end of the year allowing the racetracks to simulcast. The last thing I wanted to do was go to NH or RI to bet the Meadowlands. There is an article below for your reading pleasure. May your bets be profitable.

The simulcasting aspect was not in the paper because it was a late vote last night. That was mentioned this morning on the local news here is MA.
