The "Master" was Billy Haughton, Herve was the "Montreal Magician". I assume he'll be driving? Maybe a pp 9 winner?

AIR-VE What will it be next Lou Pena day or Kevin Wallis retirement day. Convicted cheat between him and his gambler buddies stole how much money from pools? And Pigland with his AIR-VE says he wants to get rid of cheats 2 faced all the way. Theres too many good honest harness people that deserve a day than a convicted cheat who put a black eye on the game. JMO

The absoluter greatest days of all harness racing. I'm my mind, Herve would be coming from off the pace. Set by Carmine. Herve would be sitting chilly and measured. Never winning by much. It was tough to tell if he was all out, a benefactor of the trip or just measuring the win . A absolute pro.

In those days, getting the number over was today's pre-race. I am not suggesting we give anyone a pass for being dishonest. Yet, it was the way of the business then.

If they threw ever driver out that has played games at one time or another they would not be able to fill a racing card at any track!
