Might anybody recognize the driver and wife kissing?
35-seconds into the Meadowlands 2010 Hambletonian Preview video?

Is it Del Cameron?

Nothing great here Humpy, however glad you enjoyed it.

I did recognize some of the other older photo's.

At 20-secs., Stanley Dancer "hooting" on the lead. No idea what horse.

At 28-secs., Henry and Dick Thomas.

 At 56-secs., Gib White.

At 1:05, Bill Cane standing on the track and with his back to the camera.

At 1:49, Chestertown, the Smith's and Tom Berry.

I'm sure many are able to recognize the most recent photo's.

What a Great post. Wilderness comes through again.

What I will say is that it looks like the USTA Come Back to the Track promotion has no legs.

They have the same tired advertising as the old "Go Baby Go" campaign a run by the T'bred tracks a few years ago. A bunch of actors standing in watching a race, cheering and smacking their programs into their hands.

The first half of this video would have been a far more suitable and relevent promotion for a "come back to the track" day.

bello,
At least there's an organized effort with some promotions being made?
And we should applaud the effort.
Hopefully it will have some positive effect.

Although when the date was originally set, they had no idea of the Meadowlands issue, the date (at least from today's perspective), couldn't have been more timely.

Awesome post that i will save in my library of harness racing videos . You have to love you tube and i thank the poster 10x over for this . When you look at how far equipment has come but realize how great a standardbred looks trotting just makes this video even sweeter .
