       I used to watch some of the best racing year round at The-Big M but times have changed. Tonight's card was horrible. I watched the 8th race trot where they boated home Young Pointer and Ron Pierce. He went from 9-2 to 5-2 at the quarter and walked to the half in 59 and was an easy winner. The 9th race $15,000 claimer was the worst with Heifetz Hanover the winner at 20-1. I believe a good $4,000 claimer at Balmoral could have beat those $15,000 claimers.

You're right, racing at the Big M. is at it lowest. In the past no matter what time of year it was racing at the Big M. was all QUALITY.

No doubt about it Dan--and the thread is getting frayed. Hell-bring in the dogs, lot cheaper to put on and we can all just pick our favorite colors or number combos.
