               OFFSTRIDE !        the new sam machines are coming soon ! they will be able to recycle cans for the dime bettors ! problem is your only allowed 2 lbs of cans a day to wager . yes the dime bet as brought harness racing to a new level ! I guess I have to eat crow again for my stupid post that the dime bet was'nt any good for harness racing last year ! there was over 7000 in one super pool last night on a friday . it sure has helped racing ! a guy in front of me gave the teller a roll of pennies and a dime and bet a super key ! I say 10 cent pik 6 bets and 10 cent daily doubles should be next ! again I was wrong the great dime bet has really changed racing ! look where we are now and how the pools have increased !              RTP

for those of you not in 'the loop' at rp5/8 where wrench  and i hang out there is a man named clarence.. retiree. well seasoned citizen, who walks around picking up 'empties' and drives them up into michigan and collects his dimes for them... i gave him the nick..'broadway' becuz all he does is go to the 'show' pool with his wagers.. he hates that nick... never handicaps... occasionally he gets 1 dollar of 'quik pics' in the 10cent supers... his cheers for his show tickets are things which movies are made out of... same clothes every day..always gets stiffed by morgan..lol... l
