Indiana just adopted new integrity measures. Included are security guards accompanying vets for race day Lasix, and participation in a national wagering integrity program. Riverboat subsidy money is going to pay for it. The horsemen were opposed.

This is unbelievable.  Indiana is so far behind the times that they don't even have an official escorting vets ehen they give lasix? Also, why in the hell would the breeders care if a rule was adopted stating when horses could leave the grounds? (read the last paragraph of the news story).  They claim it would interfere with training schedules.  What?  And what does that have to do with breeders?

Tim Schmidt was fired as the State Steward in Chicago for " integrity issues " so why was he hired in Indiana if they're so worried about integrity issues?

Granted there tighten integrity measure and laws may not do a thing to protect racing from the thieves. But they do prove two things THEY ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE BETTING PUBLIC!!! and THEY ARE INFORMING  THE BETTING PUBLIC OF IT!!!!!

Unlike the Illinois goons,who have done nothing in the past and will do nothing in the future for the betting public!!! And they wonder why most are  looking forward to Hoosier opening!
