OK-I need dough to pay for my Christmas cruise.  I see were one lister likes Die Lutie in the 10th.  I sort of like Fillys Victory in the 3rd.  I need some"form reversal" specials to put on top of my tris and supers.  I need about $2000 to pay for the cruise and airfare.( make that $3000-I forgot they have a casino on the boat)

Hi Bowser,

I like Filly's Victory too. She was full of pace last week, but just couldn't get out in time. With clear sailing, I think she gets there tonight. I guess I'll jump on the Die Lute bandwagon as well. Looked he just missed last time out.

Another one that I thought might be a fair price tonight is Rita Hall.

Big Head is one of my favs.  However, of late he only wins if I don't bet on him. So, If I decide to go with Die Lutie--bet the ranch on the Big Head!

now a daze making any 4 claimer a key to bet on at form reversal downs is a tuff choice, big head has been awesome with oosting at the needle but is due to throw in a bad one , die luteted has started his downward slide after a great career, and jimminy wishman is no bargain one thing for certain ..proceed with caution and thank god for dime bets..as that is all that balpo is worth..one thin dime..good luck to all

read this charley conrad...sit your fat ass on the rail and dont pull until the 3/4 pole..and then turn that brush loose..you may actually win..you are moving your 1 run horse way to soon..you get the lead and then tire...timing is the key...

Die Lute was claimed, I think? That could be huge. From Jimmy Wishman ? What an interesting, storied history this horse must have traveled to arrive at the dregs.

Looked planted in the mud down at the rail. Not much response.

Yeah, Die Lute didn't have much last night. -Ascot Brandy looked unstoppable anyway.

Anything look good tonight? - I saw that Chevie Red Vette is back quick after winning on Sunday. An exacta box with her and Adrian K might work in the 1st.

Thought Carcano with Oosting looked good as well.

Carcano = cashburner.  The thing about him her is that to get out, you have to keep playing him her or cut your losses and stay out of every race he's she's entered in.  Good luck with your selections.   trotter  TC

Why would anyone complain about purses when they run these horse 2 times a week anyway. I'm sure 2 of Balmoral's purses equals out to be more than a regular purse of the same class at any track.

Carcano - absolutely, get the horse off the wood and set her up with some pace and cover like the doctor ordered.

We were on Bermuda Babe (it's stunning how quickly a parimutuel figure can plummet in the course of 20 hurried steps from SAM to table and back).

Antoniades blessing aside (argh), maybe it was seeing that the horse raced respectably in the White Ruffle series that sealed our fate. Or seeing that Erv Miller's horse embarassed that whole crew tonight and would have lunched on this bunch. Or seeing that the Babe ate confidently of the lesser pickings when entered in a needed refresher.

Wow.

Props to Marsh for getting every centimter out of Taylor Wailer in a no-win situation.

Hope the Roberts connections in Race 10 are all well. My ticket-punchers either got wiped out or stayed behind to commiserate. Only the on-trackers know for sure.

Tank Man looks like a playback. Ditto Already Lame, of course, whom we hope won't be in his next start at 8-5.

Tonight's Shawn Christner Award goes to Gary Rath. It's fitting that one had a slightly decent horse who didn't race, while the other busted some chops of the maiden engines who couldn't.

Fun to watch 'em anyway .... we guess.

Yeah, Carcano came through. -Thought he would have been a little better price, but I guess I wasn't the only one that liked him!

And, Tank Man is definitely on my watch list. He spotted the field a ton of ground as he was well of the gate and still raced well to finish second. Should be worth a play next time out.

You guys like anything at the 'Wood tonight or Friday?
