Great article.  Note that the final diagnosis if the horse is suspect is a blood test and a spinal fluid test.  Without these tests you won't know for sure.  I had a horse diagnosed by two trainers and two vets as a EPM horse. I didn't believe them but took her to Ohio state for the test.  Test showed 100% chance that she did NOT have EPM.  Someday I will tell you the rest of the story about quakery.
