An overnight tornado destroyed half the grandstand, did an unreported amount of damage to the backside both barns and housing, injured some people, and killed some horses. Betcha that is the end of racing there. Unless they get slots soon forcing them to rebuild.

A nearby mobile home park was devasted, which of course is what the tornado was really looking for.

The part of the grandstand that got wiped out was the old part that no one uses anyhow, the part with the little covered patio out back:

This later story gives a few more details including that 3 horses died, which is way less than it sounded like earlier, so that's good.
