Everyone wants to joke about Expo, but this is the bet I feel is dead money.  I'll take a shot if it gets up to $30-40k, but that's about it.  IMO, you need a $300-500 ticket to take a good swing.

10 guys put in a couple hundred each...put together a $2000 ticket....if you get lucky you
hit for the 16000.....after tax you're getting around 1200 each....thats 6/1 on your money...
with a risk of 200.....

The stupidest bet in all of racing.  Picking one at Balmule is tough enough, much less nine.  The pool is like $1200 a night.  Its an absolute joke, and a waste of money even with a huge carryover.  Its no sissy bet either ---- Assuming 9 horse fields there are over 387 million combinations, so I'll pass!

If you're going to do that -- find a 6/1 and bet him, IMO.  Need to keep the "potential" return at least 50/1 for me.  Since I'm a believer that you'll need about $500 ticket, I won't touch it until it gets to $25k.
