Hey, I have been promoted from goofball to Dr. Dan. I think that the speed bias is one possibility for the depressed handle. With only speed horses standing a chance to cash, you theoritically have the same situation as small field going to post, which depresses handle as you have told us many times. No empirical evidence, Terry, just anecdotal observations of people passing on Hawthorne for places like Tampa.
