Twenty Sophomore Trotting Fillies Crowd Crown Entry Box

TORONTO – A deeply talented group of 20 sophomore trotting fillies heads north to Woodbine for the U.S.$600,000 Breeders Crown Three-year-old Filly Trot.

The closely contested division includes Hambletonian Oaks winner Broadway Schooner and runner-up Raising Rachel, Kentucky Futurity winner Seaside, Buckette winner Windsong Soprano, Bluegrass winners Southwind Wasabi and Margarita Momma, and Ontario Sire Stakes Gold Final winner Elusive Desire as just some of the fillies with the credentials to pull off a Crown title.

Two U.S.$25,000 elimination races will be held Saturday, with a delayed post time of 8:00 p.m. at Woodbine with the top five finishers advancing to the U.S.$600,000 final on October 24. Elimination winners may choose their post positions, which will be drawn on WEG-TV after the elims are concluded.
