I'm looking forward to it. More than recent years, for some reason. Let's hope the large field sizes can keep up and we don't have the usual small early Sportsman's meet fields. Marcus Hersch had an article in DRF that said with Fair Grounds closed, there were more horses on the grounds earlier than last year.
I was at the track during training hours yesterday and heard them announcing what races went (for Saturday) and what didn't, and there's some book races not filling. Maybe Mr. Duch still has some adjusting to do to what's on the grounds vs. previous years.
