4th race--#8 Exclusive Secret--showed some nice talent in second out.
In a real good spot for breaking maiden for Perez/Dorris

6th race--#1a Barely Union Scale--swearington 36% off this kind of layoff
and this is a good one. Had not shot in Futurity and now cuts back in distance.

HEY!
I handicapped the 8 horse in race #4 too. My tri is 8/9with 3-7-8-9 with 3-7-8-9. Hope we both win!

for race #6 I liked 1-4-5-8 boxed tri.

entry didn't do anything later in the day.

Neither do I, big al. Unless the odds to win are greater than 8/1.

/It sounds like it was close to that here.

On a horse >8-1, I usually bet to win and double on the place.   Just my rule of thumb...Means nothing to anyone else  lol

Wow, vcackerman. I wonder how we both came up with 8/1.

Maybe it just makes sense.

Unless you have a huge challk, typically horses will start paying close to half the win price for place at 8-1.   18.00, 8:40 and stuff.
