State Sen.Prez John Cullerton takes off to go to the ALL-STAR GAME in the midst of a budget discussion.Oust Blago and still cannot figure out how to balance a budget.Borrow billions from the pension fund, delay paying vendors and still end up biilons in the red.
Authorize 45,000 which will never genrate the revenue expected yet will increase costs to police them.

All this could have been done without paying the overtime generated by the special sessions down in Springfield.

Niatross - Another bad omen, Moodys, today, put Illinois on their "watch-list" relative to Illinois's long-term credit rating.

Everyone knows the state desperately needs to raise taxes.  But the chicken bleep legislators refuse to put their name on a tax increase until AFTER the election.  So they "borrow" the money instead.  Nail us for the payback and more later.  That will fool us, won't it?

Most people don't vote anyways and are stupid, so it probably will work as it has in the past!

I beg to differ. First try closing a couple prisons, quit having the IDOT fund roads to nowhere, cut out some of the social spending that does little other than sustain the agencies running the programs. Then see if a tax increase is needed.

Almost forgot about the the female Controller of the town of Dixon, Il. who fleeced the town for over 20 years to the tune of 59 miillion dollars...Talk about their Board/Commissioners being asleep at the wheel.  Her last year, prior to getting caught she stole 5.9 million.

Same sort of crap happens even in backwater places like Indiana, but that snoozeville state isn't important enough or notable enough to have its very own stalker like Niatroll. You ever heard of any guy stalking an entire state before? screwy

oh now i remember it was my old buddy clockerterry who said he was glad to pay the higher taxes that come along with living in the great state of illinois  screwy screwy

yes he bashes that backwater state of indiana with the new indoor stadium that has already hosted the super bowl and the ncaa final
seems like he was bashing gary ind for its murders and who just had over 500 murders in 2012 more than the city of new york ?
yes terry enjoyed paying those higher taxes even before the " temporary " 66% personal income tax hike  laughing guy laughing guy
ahh yes the great state of illinois where the gov was against expanded gaming then went out and allowed up to 45,000 poker machines to be installed all across the state nore than doubling gambling stations across the state  laughing guy laughing guy
let's compare in vs il casinos and racinos
in has both and used someof the monies to cap  property taxes and balanced the budget   ill adds a new casino and the state is still broke and has the worst credit out of all the states and is behind on paying all it's vendors
the great state of il the cty of chicago and the county of cook where they bring a convicted murderer from indiana to face charges on a case that has been dismissed and then let him walk out scott free  laughing guy laughing guy and blame on a paper system
the great state of il rather than tighten it's belt would rather put a tax on the sale of sneakers to fund a rpogram   how many people are dumb enuff to think all that money will actuall go there ?  screwy
since this a harness forum let us not forget how well they took care of the worl trotting derby winners

i cannot wait until lisa is elected so the next 30 yrs will be like the last  laughing guy laughing guy
