It's no secret that Bo-rail made the decision to get off  Mine That Bird, who he drove to a 6+ length Derby victory and onto Rachel Alexandra, the filly who he rode to an impressive win in the KY Oaks the day before.  The question is, do you trust Calvin's capping more than your own?  Cal knows both horses; he's tossed any chance to ride the possible triple crown winner and he's got a $110K bet, the jockey's purse-share, riding on Rachel's nose.  I'd say he believed in his horse.

No question that Calvin made both the right moral and the right pragmatic choice... He was as bewildered as any of us were over Mine's performasnce at the Derby...and rightly so.....he went so far as to credit Mr Elliot for collegially opening up a hole for him at his request (THATS A NONO STU!!!) grasping for a straw, he credited some mystic "jetstream" for this unheardof feat......Sure, Calvin's judgment in this matter is FAR superior and far better informed than any of US!

IMO she has a good a chance to win as any. There are a few very good horses here. Your call.
In the back of my mind I know Calvin had ctt'd a year long commitment to ride RA but I don't know if that commitment transfered to the new owner after the purchase.

I'd toss: Lguv, gqrtrs, fprivate, ttpoints. Marginal: tidown, pclem.  It seems like Lukas (fprivate) and the owners of Terrain are high on their horse, but I don't know about that. Bdrama, MTB, MMan, Ra, POTN all can win a bunch of races in a row if they fire.
3 horses come in fresh so I wouldn't give it much weight.

$9w1, $13w2, $6w3, $4w6, $50w13
