USTA/TrackMaster/BetAmerica handicapping challenge begins
http://www.ustrotting.com/absolutenm/anmviewer.asp?a=30948&z=35
Friday, March 20, 2009 - from TrackMaster

TrackMaster, in conjunction with the USTA and BetAmerica, have announced that their Spring handicapping contest is open, with the first race date for selections on Saturday, March 21.

Over $3,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded during the contest. The grand prize is $1,500 in cash. In addition, each weekly winner will receive a $100 wagering credit at BetAmerica.com. Entry is free, and no purchase is required.

There will be just five weeks of qualifying rounds and each Saturday is a separate contest so fans are not required to play every round and are not eliminated if a round is missed. The final round, where all the big bucks are dished out, will be comprised of 21 players, the top three scorers from each of the weekly rounds plus six wildcards rewarding frequent play. With several ways to make it into the finals, it makes a great opportunity for players of all styles to succeed.

The format is a very interesting one. Participants will have a bankroll of $500 to make exactly 10 win wagers at $50 each. Since players are given the freedom to play any harness track available, any races and horses liked, fans can stick to tracks they are familiar with or they can venture far out of their comfort zone if they so choose.

With the wildcard allowing in the three players who pick the most winners (minimum odds 1-1), and the highest three ROIs spanning the entire contest (minimum 30 plays) it also opens up the contest for some different strategies.

Go to www.trackmaster.com/contest/ for all the complete details, rules and regulations.

the new mac daddi rule

In the new contest starting tomorrow at Trackmaster.com, no longer can you qualify by picking a bucketload of 2.40 winners, your winners now need to pay at least even money to count. Looks like the whole world is now ganging up on you
