1.  Trackside has a tear off calendar showing 76 days to the opening of Arlington at present.
2.  John Frank wore long pants today.
3.  Couldn't get payoffs or make bets on Santa Anita after 7th race today, due to some computer glitch.  Mutual clerks were very helpful by saying "Why is everyone here on such a cold day anyhow?" or "That guy only won a few bucks, so why is he even bothering to collect?"  Another clerk said "he is probably blowing his money so he needs every cent!"  I overhead all these comments while waiting to collect on an SA bet.  It is a good thing that horseplayers are used to such abuse, because an average business customer would not take it from these ***hole.  God bless SAM machines!

Try Roger or the lady Pat they are usually on the north end ( furthest from the entrance) of the non-smoking end side of Trackside - both are very friendly and as a bonus they're fast too

Very nice afternoon yesterday handicapping and drinking with John,Stat, and Billy Downes to name a few - even showed a $110 profit playing exclusively at SA. Good luck out there today guys.........

If Packy Hart the Director of Mutuals at Hawthorne hears of any clerk being abusive - he will personally go up and ream the offender in front of God and everybody. He won't stand for that crap, and with good cause, because there are many players that will leave and never come back over that shit.

I plan to go to Trackside on Mondays. Also I may want to make an advance wager on the weekends I have to work.  Do I have to go upstairs for the advance wagering or are they tellers downstairs about 9:30 am where I can place a bet?
