Looks like this is a sign of what's ahead for thoroughbred live racing. The named tote company (United Tote)is the tote for all Churchill Downs tracks plus about 15 additional major tracks:

You will need to register(free) to view these reports, but Business Wire is a great site for info.

It seems like all of these tracks aren't to worried that YouBet is the largest internet horse/sports/casino wagering site in America. Or are they only jumping on the bandwagon?

Yes Dan you're correct. Only some of Churchills' tracks are United Tote, another earlier news release that I read had stated "all" of CHDI were now with UT,  but see below how big United Tote really is:

Founded in 1959, United Tote is a supplier of totalizator systems, terminals and other pari-mutuel wagering services that process more than $7 billion in handle annually on a global basis, approximately 90% of which is North American pari-mutuel handle. United Tote supplies pari-mutuel tote services to approximately 94 racing facilities in North America, including Churchill Downs and New York Racing Association tracks, and 11 facilities in Korea, Mexico, Spain and other foreign markets.

Either Am Tote or UT have a tote system they have kept under wraps, a next-generastion system named "Quantum."
