It was a rather busy, and I believe suspect, night in the claiming box at Yonkers Raceway last night. Eight claiming races ... six horses switch barns ... the state smiles at the taxes on the $210,000 which changed hands.

A quick recap of some of the claims from last night:

Race #1: Maineiac Matt claimed by Larry Baron for $30,000 with Josh Green the new trainer
Race #3: Matt Hersyey claimed by Larry Baron for $30,000 with Josh Green the new trainer
Race #6: Mr Chin claimed by Larry Baron for $40,000 with Josh Green the new trainer
Race #8: Object of Art claimed by Hal Glestein for $50,000 with Josh Green the new trainer

I bring up these four of the six claims for a reason.

It is not to start a post saying, "Gee whiz. Josh Green is the luckiest trainer on earth cause two owners gave him $150.000 in new horses to work with"

The owners are buddies playing a claiming game to protect initional investments on these horses. I hope people caught onto that last nigh and do not get caught up in this.

When will Barn To Wire finally do the right thing and ban Clockerterry & Edwarren for their continued lies, anti-American & anti-semetic statements and their general disrutpive stupidity?

I am not sure what is worse in this sport.

The loopholes in the rules and regulations or the people who sit around and look for ways  to get around the rules and regulations.
