I knew a few guys who used to bet with Gov. Rods sportsbook in the western suburbs of Chicago years ago. Amazed me when he became Illionois Governor.  What a country!  Media keeping that fact suspiciously quiet.  Yawn.

I heard the same thing from a co-worker, but I can't prove it's true.

Wouldn't doubt it a bit tho.

What's wrong with being a bookie anyway?
I know some nice people that are bookies .

Instead of hints and allegations, why don't you spell out the details here?

If you have correct information, you aren't susceptible to libel / slander charges.

Let's have it, and you can show up the media at the same time!

(Unless you are full of shit...then you should just shut up.)

"Be patient"? What, more hints?

Do you have any info or not?

If you have info but can't share it "at this time" -- how are you any better than the "media" you so like to criticize?
