When they're batting that high then they're juicing pal. You can take that to the bank.

You gotta be careful with that statement when you don't know how his stock is classified.  If they are all similar to the last, it's reasonable he could have a 60% month when he doesn't start that many.

Was Mal Burroughs juicing because he batted .940 (or something) in 1997?  Wink

Yes -- used to drive occasionally too.  I don't know a thing about OH racing though, so no idea if he pulled down some positives.

Best,
EW

You don't have to pull down positives to be known as a juiceman. All you have to do is win races and bat .400. Then you're in the club.

Please don't tell me you guys are watching Ben Dover Downs.  My faith in humanity is shaken.  I bypassed Channel 13 (fitting-LOL) to watch Western Fair instead on RTN - Frank Salive vs. Tony Morgan...hmm.  Upcoming replays from Ratwood from Monday or Tony...hmm.  The test pattern on Tucson Greyhounds or Tony...hmm - LOL.  TC

Any track that Tim Curtain is driving and winning races at I wanna be there with "Bells On". He's about as good as Marshall Duncan. Tony will "CRUSH" that place.  Wink

Alot of people are changing their tune on Morgan at Dover after a hand full of races.
Last week at this time many of you said Dover was keeping him out.
What 's the story now?

You have to wonder how many of these guys are going to play games with him...he's stealing right from their dinner plates...

EW,
That's racing!

Undoubtedly, Burton...

You just have to wonder why there isn't more talent down there, considering what they are racing for...this is completely a guess, but it must be a less-than-average place to live if all they can attract is Wolfenden and Hanners putting up that kind of dough.

I don't call winning with dead chalks and against bum drivers stealing from their dinner plates.

But, then again that's why he's out there because he knows he can steal. He couldn't steal at the Big M. against REAL drivers.

Dan,

By him being out there, you'd have to think it's going to be tougher for the "bottom level" guys there to make the buck.  Just curious how they'll react to that...it seems like a pretty closed shop.

He still has two drives remaining -- 13th and the 15th -- let's see how he does.

The place is a dump and they race in the afternoon not at night. There is more then just money in this world. You have to be happy where you're racing or it's not worth being there.

Also, how is he STEALING, Dan?  Looks like he went around a time and a half, just like the others...

I'm sure alot of them aren't happy. Maxwell and Coleman and Carpenter and Dean weren't happy either when Balmoral went to the new schedule years ago. Those guys were making a good living down there then but when things changed in 98 those guys couldn't get drives.

Question: why do all these "B and C" rate drivers shake the reins and whip in a spastic fashion, as if they can wiggle their way to the winner's circle?  I'm not a driver (obviously), but -- uh -- if no one at the big places does it, I assume it's not the most productive thing...am I off?

You're the one who said he was stealing.

Correct, Dan.  I should probably flesh that out a little -- he's clearly not "stealing..."  But, the money is staying the same, so it's coming right out of the other drivers pockets.

You've got me there though -- I definitely said it.
