There is no justice in this business anymore. This Burke thing has gone on since 2006, that should not be. What is this saying about our sport ? And if they do fine him, it will be for the 4 mo he is in Florida. Ronnie slips in as trainer and nothing changes, so why the bother racing commission? I noticed at the Meadows their 2 top trainers Mickey Burke and Mike Palone are both caught using drugs and no longer allowed on the grounds. Way to go Meadows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What it says about the sport / biz is that no one is control and you are free to do whatever you want to do.
There is NO other MAJOR sport in NORTH AMERICA that would allow a violation in their biggest event to drag onto the following yrs event before it gets resolved.How they let SMENDHAMMER drag his appeal on is a joke.
