Hello Everyone,

There are some very bright handicappers on this message board. I would like to invite the Barn To Wire group to participate in a team handicapping league.

I run a league called the EPFHL on a site called E~Ponies. I created this league in 2005 with the league growing every season. This summer league we have 22 teams. There are 3 members per team. We play 24 games head to head against another team. There are 4 divisions, each team plays everyone in their division 3 times. I keep the scores on a program I created updating them race by race and posting them to the website. I also keep running totals for every player in the league for the w-p-s ROI. Last week we completed week 1 of 24 which was Keeneland.

Selections:
Each player in the league selects one horse per race. That player earns points for his/her team by the w-p-s mutuel of the horse. If the horse runs out, they do not score that race.
We all post by program number of the horse.
All entries are one selection interest.
If one half of the entry scratches you get the other half.
If your selection scratches, you will receive the post time favorite. When you have a scratch and receive the post time favorite, this will not count against your individual ROI.
If a player on your team is absent for the day he/she will receive the post time favorite for the day. I allow just so many before the player is replaced. People go on vacations and such which is understandable. We do not play on Holiday weekends.
Since we play head to head against other teams. The team who scores the most points for the selected races is the winner and earns a win for the day. The loser earns a loss for the day.

I want to know if Barn to Wire can get (3) 3 member teams to represent your site in the Web site league.
The above will be the basic rules which I will elaborate on once we start.
The only difference is, we will play home and away games on each others web sites. The home team will get a $3.00 home start against their competition. If you can get 3 teams I will put them all in different divisions.

Oh by the way, the league has always been FREE to play in. If you want to check out the EPFHL we play on e-ponies.com

We are half way through our 2008 Summer League. Last season we had 22 teams. This season we have 26 teams.

I know it has been a while, I am still working on the Web Site team league. I have a few sites wanting to play but not enough to have a league yet. I am confident this will eventually happen.
