IL Derby nominations are sort of light weight

Hawthorne got a decent number of nominations but pretty much not for many of the contenders.  Of course, by that time, some of the names on this list may be contenders.  I am pulling for B. Wayne Hughes horse, Refinery, sort of has a Hawthorne ring to the name.

I saw where the winner of the Arlington-Washington futurity was declared off the Derby trail now.

OK...here are my longshot picks for the Illinois Derby. Why you ask? Because we have a yearling out of Yes It's True and a suckling out of High Yield. So, maybe I am hoping to increase the value of our own horses, but it's a better reason than: saddle color, favorite number, jockey stats, horse color, trainer, etc. LOL
