I was looking over the meadowlands and a thought occured to me.......ILL breds are awsome and I mean everywhere.....I think 25 years ago if you had told me they'd be so competitive anywhere they raced I would of laughed..... now do you think the sad state of ILL racing will have any effect down the road on the breeding? I know lots of people are getting out and with the bonuses gone and purses down to nothing will it still be worth it to breed here?  I think ILL breds are doing the state proud, but will that end too?

We hear that the number of applications for breeding mares to the states better stallions is way lower. With the purses down and  incentives so low the program probably will not stay Strong. It looks like Mr. Moats made a big mistake by killing the million dollar bonus also.

I would expect the stallions to relocate.  Just as Valley Victor was.
