Since Dan and other "good posters" even SUPERMAN of all people continue there blue flu lets take turns with Daily Debate. All have our pet peeves and issues.

Heres my Debate question you know my opinion all ready so I will post the question and shut up. Then some one else can do tommorrow.

"Should Chicago go to a reduced racing shcedule like every where else?" Days off weeks off months off which ever. Would real seasons with beginnings and ends make racing more interesting to fans. Would theer be more ineterest in going to the track or OTB if it wasnt avaialable every night all year. Would reduction in days make bigger purses better racing. What would be affect on horsemen and farms. Other considerations. What unforseen consequences.

I will be intersted to see others thoughts.

I guess superman doesn't think his behavior pushes people away.

Less racing would benefit everyone.
The market is dying and they need something to make the product more attractive.
Less is more.

I would be all for reducing the race dates in Chicago. The question I have about reducing dates is that Doesnt Recapture money due to the tracks go up with less dates?

The tbreds worked that out with there tracks so it didnt make more. Harness should do the same if both sides work in good faith.
