a shame! the bc run was very impressive especially considering the trouble that he overcame on the backstretch run. the most recent race wasnt bad, small field and the winner had things all his own way. heres hopin all the cali tracks do adopt polytrack, paved highway galore outwest and obviously it isnt good for the animals

He came out of the race sat. fine. Post race reports have the owners most concern over the fact FS never switched leads coming home. Personally I think he can get a mile and a 1/4 but his next race (Fountain of Youth) will give a better picture. Losing to a track record performance and being assigned a 107 beyer while not switching leads are all possitives in my book. But like all others only time will tell.

a lot of future bet money went down the tubes with stevie blunder boy... with the pools open weeks earlier than in past years  those betting in future pools should be wary of those..higher payoffs...

We've seen economic analysis of future bets in this forum, but with the durability of today's horses, futures bets seems to have no appeal. They're almost a wager on a wager. Except for MAYBE the final futures list.

What bummer news that was. We own a broodmare in foal to Stephen Got Even, and were hoping to see Stevie win the Derby..more value for his siblings..sniff, sniff
