I have not posted on these boards much, but have been reading them for the past 5 years. Saturday I had the pleasure to meet John Frank and his side kick "Nick the Kid".  I have been hanging around Trackside for many years and I do believe John knows a hell of alot of people as he claims.  Also, I have to admit - I think I really only read these boards so that I can listen to all his wild information.  Keep the posts coming John, and thanks for the conversation.  Also, I will have to hit you up for a free Beer one of these days..............

Great post Mottoman

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it was Nietzche who stated that -
"suffering and solitude are two conditions that every great man must endure...."

John Franks embodies this sentiment...... he would like some to think otherwise,
but he really is a wonderful human being. Smiley

John Franks embodies this sentiment

Thus the working title of his book, "Beyond Beer and Losing".
