With regard to crude oil, prices fell 3.1% after a government report showed an unexpected crude and gasoline inventory build, sparking a rally in energy-price sensitive areas.

Hahahahaha! I haven't owned a car since 1980. I'll bet you are regretting your giant SUV purchase. Seeing your posts, I'm guessing you are one of the suckers who bought a Hummer.

Ah Comrade Numbnuts---judging from the time you spend typing your interpertation of MoveOn's propaganda, you probably haven't had a real job since that time either.
Tell us comrade, in which of your contributions to the soviet society do you take the most pride.
Wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This can't be the real "looney mooney". The "real" looney takes high offense at anyone who, in his addled mind, uses calling out  "name callers" as a tactic.
You're a liar and a hypocrit comrade. A mouth piece for radical left wing despots/lunatics  such as Huffington, Soros, Ayers, and the daily kos. Probably decades old issues of Tass and Pravda as well.
By the way I have three pickups, one a diesel powered dualie behemoth that would have eaten your 1976 Yugo in one gulp. They both make money each and every day and still, at $5.00 a gallon, turn a profit ( OMG ) what a nasty word in your little elite, arrogant world.
My wife drives a turbocharged Mazda 3. I drive a turbo charged Porsche. I can afford all five vehicles. I can probably buy and/or sell you and your walk-up apartment. I'll put it in the corner of the twenty five acres we own and maybe the horses will take a dump in you kitchen.
The best part of all this comrade is that my Dad never made more than $4.25 an hour his entire life. He didn't pay my way through school. He figured my best route to an advanced education was the group you and yours hate with a passion...the U.S. military. I went to school on the GI Bill comrade, after two great years in Korea. You should applaude that as it was government sponsored. As I earned a couple of scholarships, that subsidy went away...tears you up doesn't it?
The best part is that when I graduated I went to work for a company that saw a little talent and rewarded that talent without my having to negotiate the reward with a union.
After 24 years I retired. Gosh, at only 49 years of age and invested my 401K in the dirty capitalistic markets and in precious metals. Guess what comrade, I was doing so well that I got tired of sitting on my ass, as apparently do you, and re-invested a couple of bucks in a couple broodmares and again started a small company that is suddenly too big to manage alone any longer. I have a couple of guys who manage and hire others now and guess what comrade they are better than well paid as are the people they hire. All are hispanic and each and every one is here in the commonwealth, legally---I ensure that to be true!!!
All are friends before they are employees, even the pair who the others refer too as "the peonistas".
I started all this when, at age 15  I went to work, parttime, at $1.35 an hour
That's my story tovarish. I'll bet your's is a real socialist's wet dream.
Oh yeah---you're damned right I collect Social Security---It's only $1700 a month but it pays for the gas in the Porsche and the Mazda (doesn't that just p@## you off ? ) and ..................I paid for it !!!!!!

People like you always say, "Bush/Cheney Oil Cartel", "Bush's Buddies", "Bush's Friends" but never do you ever actually name these people.

The same ones at the secret policy meetings at the beginning of Bush's 1st term.

Comrade,

You are absolutely and positively terrible in exploiting your fellow comrades.
How dare you to make money?
This is not the real socialistic way.
You must suffer all your life, comrade.
You must feel the pain, like Comrade Barack and Michelle have been preaching for the past 9 months.
You must go to rehabilitation, comrade.

You have a problem by claiming to work for yourself.
You must be dependent upon the government to take care of you.
Yes, comrade, you will learn.

So you took a lot of subsidies and you are still subsidies from the government. COMRADE!!

The problem for you is, that you apparently can refute anything I post. You have to go off on a long rant about your life (which nobody is interesting in). But, typical fat cat, whining about oil prices and taxes while taking Social Security and subsidies. I don't care what you own, but quit whining about paying taxes when the biggest expenditure is stuff you are using (Social Security) and stuff you support (endless war).

Just so you know, other than unemployment once (and I had to pay part of it back!), I get no money from the government.  I have worked for 45 years already, mostly full time since I was 10 years old. With your college subsidies and Social Security, you have received a LOT more money than I ever got from the Government, Socialist.

Are you aware that George HW Bush made his money in a firm called Zapata oil, which then grew and merged and became Pennzoil??

That George W Bush tried to the same thing, but failed?

These guys have more contacts and more friends in oil than maybe anyone in the US.

So what, Obsama Obama has friends that are thieves, racist's, terrorists and murderers. You're OK with that I presume? They should go after Murtha's earmarks, then they would make more money!  sneaky

I wouldn't be, if you could show that ANY of that is true. You could start with Obama's name. Is it really Obsama Obama, or do you feel the need to belittle him to shore up your manhood, or what?

I second the nomination

I loved it too!  And it was entertaining, unlike most other posts!

Just for the record, the speculation in the oil market which is now down $16/barrel in the last 3 days, is that some of the big investment banks have been selling out their long positions to raise capital.  This could create more waves of selling or it could be a very short-lived event.  Either way, the reports of full tankers sitting on waterways with no place to sell/deliver their oil can't be hurting things.  This according to CNBC today.

The funnier one today was New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine on the Steve Malzberg Radio Show today on WOR-710AM in New York. Corzine was asked if he would now favor ocean drilling.

This clown says that he favors it off the California and Gulf Coasts but NOT the eact coast. The reasons he gave were:
1) Geological surveys from over 30 years ago show that the Atlantic would not have as much oil potential as the Gulf or West Coasts.

2) New Jersey could not handle a spill from a off shore drill or an accident at a platform.

I love these Liberals who tewll us what we must have and need and then add, "But not in my backyard". I hate to break it to the Governor but isnt it possible that new geological technology 30 years later could find more oil then first suspected?

Next, I love the guy saying he is afraid of spills. Freakin Hurricane Katrina destroyed 99% of a majopr American city and not a drop of oil leaked from the platforms in the Gulf of Mexico where the storm passed through.

You are comparing apples and oranges. You are talking about a tanker. I am talking about the actual platform and rig. My point is all the Lefties who say that there are oil spills because of the drilling are just wrong.

As far as the tankers are concerned. Of course there are going to be accidents. That happens with any mode of transportation. Anybody who claims we shouldnt drill because of the tankers is just shortsighted.

Those large 18-wheel trucks that carry nine or ten new cars at a time to dealerships have accidents. Should we just ban them?

We have had a couple of cruise ship accidents/fires the last couple of years. Should Congress just ban Royal Caribbean and Carnival.

We have mile long trails transporting good across this nation on a daily basis and they derail. Should Nancy Pelosi just get a law passed to end rail traffic?

Claiming accidents is just Obama/Pelosi scare tactics

William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. Both are or were members of a group called the Weather Underground, which has taken credit for 25 bombings including ones in New York City. Obama became buddies with them when he was first chosen to run for the Illinois Senate in 1995.

They have appeared together many times and in 2001, Ayers told the New York Times that, "I feel we (The Weather Underground) didn't do enough".

You are comparing apples and oranges. You are talking about a tanker. I am talking about the actual platform and rig. My point is all the Lefties who say that there are oil spills because of the drilling are just wrong.

No comparisons made.  Tankers are tankers. A tanker spilled 400,000 bbbls of crude into New Orleans Harbour last week.
Wells and derricks constantly leak oil. In the oil business its called wastage.
You are misinformed.

Claiming accidents is just scare tactics

You're bluffing  Itwas in the paper.

I understand wastage. That is one of the things they are *** about in California.

My point is that the tankers have to do with the transportation of the product, not the production of it.

When it comes to the transportation of any product. Be it tanker, truck, rail or plane, there will be accidents. You dont ban the entire product because of that. The oil rigs are not perfect but they have a low accident leak.

Hell, we just had an atomic sub leak in Japan. Should we now mothball all nuclear subs?
