Kudlow, has a radio program on Saturdays on WABC-770AM in New York City from 10am-1pm and he has been saying this for several weeks and he is being proven right.

His saying is we need the return of King Dollar.

The main issue.

If you increase interest rates, that will help the dollar, lower oil prices but its going to screw the subprime market.

What is the lesser of the three evils? Bomb screw maroon dollar

I always think that the government should remmember the last line of Mary Little Lamb.

"leave them alone and they'll come home, wagging their tails behind them".

So, Dubya finally rescinded the Presidential moratorium that his own Republican father put on? What took him so long?

If he was concerned about the price of oil, he would have done something when the price hit $100/bbl, you would think. Or maybe even when it hit $60/bbl, and he had both House and Senate behind him.

Could it be that his friends in Saudi Arabia like the price being so high?

He could have rescinded that Presidential moratorium the day he came to office, and we would be swimming in cheap gas today, thanks to that 10 trillion barrels offshore of California, and it would all have gone to America and only American stockholders, because filthy furriner oil companies and furrin stock holders would not have been allowed to participate in any way, and today America would be strong, and proud. But, no, Dubya said, "Let them suffer at the pumps" for 7-1/2 years, until finally the price of oil got high enough that his buddies at the oil companies could really make a killing when he finally chose to open those fields back up. Meanwhile, good solid Americans like the conservative posters to this forum had to suffer, suffer bad, and make choices between gas and food for their children, while Dubya fiddled and did nothing while the price of oil climbed to $150 a barrel. All he would have had to do is rescind that moratorium 7-1/2 years ago.  thumbs down

You mean leave them alone, like they did during the Reagan administration and we got the S&L crisis? Or leave them alone in the W administration and we got the Subprime Mortgage crisis?

Why do you hate America?

/Let's also not forget Enron.
