Lets start a new contest for BTW members on "The Public Handicapper"

Hello Barn To Wire members,

How about having more of you guys here playing the public handicapper.  It would be nice to have a friendly Barn To Wire Contest that plays the Public Handicapper.   Although there would be no prizes, maybe we could each throw in $25.00 a piece.  The next contest starts this weekend.  If some of you are interested, contact me and the participants can decide on the rules and how the winners should devide the purse.  Let me know!  Sincerely, Mark Maegdlin

Mark: Forget that concept. On this board no one cares. I'll give you a example on another board though. ESPN. A ***hole who works for Dutrow. Contests are beneath him. He posts though with regularity how he is going to hit pick 6s at Aqueduct , Gulfstream, Santa Anita. Him and others. They post preposterious picks ranging from $1500 to $5000. They never hit. They usually wash out in first leg. When they do finally snatch one it pays $1200. But yet they say they made fortunes every day betting exactas,pick 3's and pick'4's. Monoply money picks with no verification is absurd. If you saw the amounts these jagoffs say they bet,at years end they would be down $2,000,000. Forget contests.

Anyone who wants in that contest needs to sign up this weekend. I'm working on making the mailing list right now.

I expect it will be too simple, or the prizes not good enough, for the likes of a master horseplayer like John Frank, but for people who want to have a little fun, it's okay. NOTE: I don't care if people have horses on the Derby trail, you're welcome, too.

Novice nah. You can make a big bet on a longshot and zoom right to the top
look for "Weston" to be near the top as almost always. I have finished in the top 10 before. Still looking for a top 5 finish.
