yeah them were some good Il breds cheetah and shadow......I think cheetah was the biggest frigging racehorse I'd ever seen, he looked like a clydesdale and he had to be very hard to keep in race shape...I saw stan at the hawthorne meet and he owns some resort in florida maybe purple shoes is with him..

Dwight is still around.   Watch for him at Maywood.   Drove in a Qualifier there last Thursday behind a Teri King trained horse.   Me, I haven't seen or spoken to Dwight in ages but do recall him as a really nice fella, yes a gentleman.....very likeable. Would be nice to reconnect with him.  Much like another old friend, Wayne Moore.   Wayne no longer is involved in the sport and is living in Florida.  He too was always decent to me and for many years I considered him a good friend.   While on the subject of 'whatever happened to.....' anybody recall Mike Sorak?   Here's a guy that had all sorts of knowledge about bloodlines and such and trained the winner of the Orange & Blue 2 yr. old Filly Stake in the early 80's, a horse named Petite Skipper.   That was his claim to fame, of sorts.   Last I heard, Mike was out of racing and living somewhere around Bloomington, Illinois.

I don't think Dwight was the best but he did a great Job with them horses......mark o'mara had cheetah for a while and farrington had shadow but they did good with Dwight.
