do the top dogs do it ? At the Big M (and here), some of these barns are sooooo en fuego. Well, it seems at least three top flight barns at the Big M with ties to the midwest are using human epogen to shave up to 3 seconds off horses best known times. I don't know (or care) if it's epoetin alfa, diprivan, depo medrol, or whatever, but this poison is in their current "witche's brew". I'm told there is no test for this stuff currently in NJ, but if this story is true, it would explain how these steeds keep running off. It would also account for form reversals and guys strolling to the window to fire $100 TRI wheels and never sweat out a race. I also learned that a "shipment" got hung up and the law is interested in the hows, whos, and wheres in respect to the shipments origin and destination. Stay tuned as others will perhaps kibbitz from the Garden State and beyond.
