Let's give the ladies their fair due
If you're an owner which female trainers would you give your horses to
Please base your opinion on training ability and care not looks and rumors
In no particular order my choices are
Kim Hamilton
Donna Lee Ozment
Brenda Romania
Stacey Beckley
Kim Hankins (OOPS)

Im not an owner but i would say Schadt or Kim Roth would be on my list.

Grandma Burright was phenomenal in the glory days of harness racing. Her favorite saying was "All friendships end at the drawgate" Her daughter Joyce Hankins trained and won the "World's Lady Driving Championship" at Maywood and retired that same evening.

They never got any favors and never expected any.
Their spirit lives on in Stacy Ruddick, Kim Rinker,Cassie Coleman, etc.

Jennifer Lappe and Julie Miller are by far the best two female trainers in chicago. Bea Farber was one of the best trainers in chicago(including the guys). She won training titles in chicago and was also a great driver. Robin couldn't lead a thirsty horse to a water hole, but she can make your nice 50,000 claimer  into an ok 8 claimer  Wink

 What about Kathy Rutherford she could train but at times I think see ate more than the horses she trained. LOL

lets not forget TERI KING BANKS .
she could train and work circlesaround this bunch.
she had idealtown.gerald said the year he wonthe trainers title.
she was his secret weapon.she allso worked for franson.
now shes jacobs 2nd trainer. TKB's as tuff as the BOYS!!!!
