Just back from the Christmas Parade, too cold and windy for this old man. Looked at a few old programs from Chicago racetracks, covering the early-70's thru mid-80's, and thought you old-timers who have followed Chicago racing for years might be familiar with the drivers colony during that period. Only problem is that it's too easy just to list them, no challenge in that, so I've given you their initials, you give me their name. Now, some drivers have the same initials. The list contains no duplicates thus it may require two or more different answers to the same initials. How many drivers in the Chicago area, for that period, can you recall ?
1) D.B. 2) R.M. 3) R.M. Jr. 4) C.P. 5) S.C. 6) W.P. 7) J.C. 8) G.M. 9) D.M. 10) D.M. 11) D.K. 12) G.L. 13) H.P. 14) J.D. 15) L.S. 16) B.N. 17) P.M. 18) J.D. 19) N.W. 20) D.B. 21) S.B. 22) K.H. 23) D.S. 24) D.S. Jr. 25) C.Mc. 26) J.G. 27) A.T. 28) A.G.S. 29) G.K. 30) J.W. 31) H.G. 32) R.F. 33) D.P. 34) G.R. 35) A.P. 36) R.W. 37) D.P. 38) W.M. 39) L.L. 40) C.W. 41) H.K. 42) E.C. 43) D.B. 44) R.K. 45) I.S. 46) B.R. 47) F.V. 48) J.M. 49) J.N. 50) E.J. 51) N.C. 52) M.C. 53) D.H. 54) R.F. 55) Y.D. 56) D.I. 57) H.B. 58) A.R. 59) T.R. 60) J.H. 61) G.H. 62) J.E. 63) G.P. 64) B.F. 65) O.F.
These drivers range from Hall of Famers to the most difficult. Good luck to all who care to participate.

Wally - Thanks for playing. All are correct except # 29, looking for a different name though Kidwell might have driven in that era.

Pezz - Congrats on all your correct answers. Looking for a different name for #12 though Longo probably drove in Chicago then. Also, I have Ron Marsh as # 3, so still need # 2. Thanks for playing.

UPDATE :
The following numbers have been solved :
1 / 3 / 4 / 6 / 7 / 9 / 10 / 11 / 13 / 14 / 18 / 21 / 22 / 28 /
31 / 33 / 35 / 38 / 40 / 41 / 54 / 55 / 57 / 64
FYI - # 2 is not Ron Marsh # 12 is not Gerald Longo # 21 & # 43 is not Daryl Busse # 29 is not Glen Kidwell # 53 is not Doug Hamilton or Dale Hiteman
Hope that helps.
Still got a couple of Hall of Famers left and a few still active plus the toughies.

Goodfella - Thanks for playing. Jessie Willis is correct. Don Brooks is # 20 so you have that, Daryl Busse is # 1. Still looking for # 36 and # 43 (the latter has same initials as Busse & Brooks).
