I am looking to get some NICE thoroughbred mares in-foal to my stallion in 2008 for 2009 foals. Unfortunately, I do not have any of my own thoroughbred mares at this time, so I am offering a handful of FREE breedings to exceptional mares. The stats on my stallion:
1996 15.3hh stallion by Temperence Hill out of Peppy gale. $628,803 in earnings. His record of 25 wins, 16 places, and 13 shows is impressive, especially in that he had 98 starts and finally retired only after a second bowed tendon in 2006. He spent a few months recovering, and was put into retraining 6 months after his "career-ending" injury. He has proven himself to also be an apt pupil under saddle, and if all continues to go well, he will be shown lightly in 2008.
His fertility is exceptional via live cover, and he is a gentleman to handle. I am expecting 5 sporthorse foals in 2008 (including one foal out of a mare who I have tried to get in-foal without success for 3 seasons. She was just confirmed in-foal again at 4 months gestation!), and one thoroughbred foal in Kansas. His temperment and trainability is exceptional, and he has a proven history of soundness over the long haul.
Mare care is $5/day dry and $10/day wet, and that would be the ONLY expense for approved mares, except for any routine vetting. Please contact me via e-mail at:
