Rod the Mod proposes keno

News from yesterday says Gov. Rod the Mod has rolled out a plan to add keno games in bars and convenience stores across Illinois, apparently as part of the Lottery.

Unsurprisingly, it turns out some of his aides are suddenly lobbyists for the would-be keno operator GTECH, widely known to be one of the politician palm greasingest companies in all of gambling.

This could only bode well for horse racing.

Have any of you been in those bars in California that have the keno? Ever seen anyone actually playing the game? Me neither.

I don't remember them having any keno at Wyoming Downs. I did hit a real nice trifecta on a quarter horse race there.
