He hung tough there. Would have been nice if the 6 and 7 both didn't hiccup by the first turn.

Race 2 - 6 - 4 - 5

Take the Fanning Horse (Hezabigrascal) to bein the number. the guy is on fire.
I don't think he should be 3-1 though.

I thought you were home Sporty. Merry Christmas to El Dube for getting that much room from that spot on the rail.

Race 5 - 8 - 6

P.S. Nomar, you have been making some sharp posts on this board.

Here's a zinger for the 6th race - #6. I also like #4, but how can you bet Berry at M1?

bunny ya just got nipped there.

Chalk talks next race,

Tri partwheel - 2 w 1,4,5

Berry isn't that bad just hasn't gotten stock there. I know a lot of guys like the work he's doing at freehold and hopefully he'll get more mounts moving forward.

When the rest of the Chicago folks roll out to the swamp I'm sure he'll get some better drives.

Nipped? The 8 won the 5th didn't he?

Berry may not be on the best stock, but as TC said a while ago...Berry can't drive himself out of paper bag right now at The Big M.

Race 7 - Looks pretty rough here. If JC does not fry up the 9 through the second half he may be around the wire.

thought you were playing a cold 8-6.

8 won, went 876

I predict Berry will have a pretty good February as the series start up and the chicago horses/trainers roll into town.

I did, but the "nipped" threw me off because the 6 was about 7 lengths back.

We'll see how Berry does. You are not going to start touting John Drew already for Saturday are you?

didn't see the race just the result...didn't realize the 6 was that far back.

No touting for John Drew....haha.

Isn't the 8 a bit of a gift here at 9/2?

I know Nomar doesn't like Cat Man, but a price is a price.

I am not sure what to make of Show Me the Monet. This horse was ripe for the taking a little while ago and is now a big question mark. Not much here, however.

DTB -
I am not sure that is a good thing. I think I am about 2 for 30 when I bet horses at The Big M that have a claim entered.
