Just for fun I thought I would try the pick all.  What's up with that track, I think I had 2 out of 8 and was knocked out after the first race.  I can't win money at Santa Anita.  The worst  was the late scratch of the horse that Gomez was riding in the 5th race.  Any Santa Anita help would be appreciated.  Thanks   MM

Com'n where is that positive attitude.

3rd at SA 1/12
---------------------

#9 Talega Creek--hoss looks overclassed. He ain't. watch this one fly though the lane.
enough talent to win this starter allowance class

#6 Refusal--refuses to win and is relagated to a minor position yet once again.

#7 Harbor Town--not sure what happen in last but race 2 back puts him right there
at the finish.

#8 Agorein--was outkicked by refusal two back. but that race wasn't that bad.

win bet on the 9 and key both 6 and 9 in the exotics and settle back watch the race and walk
to the collection window. easy money. **LOL**

The Pick 8 is hard to sharpshoot when the fields are large. Probably, continuing play the way you have, you'll have to be lucky. So, reduce your expectations, go in the hole, and bet MORE combos, cover more horses. If you don't know what the probables are you're betting blind, and obviously, you'll need to be extra careful. Keep a CLOSE eye on what you're doing. Otherwise forget that gimmick and concentrate on another or else, maybe races with smaller fields.

When losing you either have to "speed up" or "slow down" and that will be a matter of personal preference.

Best,
Ed

a beautiful day in Southern California. firm turf.

1st at SA 1/13--

#5--Urban King--Frankel Heavy chalkie lays over this shot field

#1--Masarin--Last was on off turf. No good. 2 back would be competive here.

#7--Super Strut--A step slower than the top 2 but can be used in exotics

Exactas 5-1 and 5-7 take the smallish exacta here.

5th at SA 1/13
---------------------
claimer at a flat mile.

#2 Salcombe--nice win at Belmont last out at the 75K level. Hasn't broken though
at the flat mile yet (3 seconds from 3 races) today might be the day. Got a nice turn
of turf foot.

#3 Ibero Grace--got some nice giddyup on turf. Flat mile might not be the best distance for him
but he is always there.

#1 Trial By Jury--No wins in two years major turn off but can be used underneath with confidence.

#4 Blue Stellar--Frankel chalk has been stinking out the as favs last 3 of 4. Is a decent sort and
cannot be tossed

Well win bet on the 2 and 3 and key those two in exotics with the other two hosses mention
should take dow the exotics.

Santa Anita a bad play ?  LOL  What's the matter, didn't any of you t-bred gurus flush the 7th as a certain capper did with Richebourg floating down the hill in near wire to wire fashion ?  Thanks for the $21 mutuel and big thanks to the #3 and #7 finishing ITM so I could cash that $2,100 + super.  My ticket was 3-4-7,3-4-7,1-2-3-4-7,1-2-3-4-6-7 for .10 with one repeat and 4, 3-7, 3-6-7, 1-2-3-6-7 for $1.  Perhaps I will make a return to t-bred land if these nice prices are going to land out there.  #2 with Enriquez annexes the last, but I loved Court aboard the #1 (Brite but Wild), who came from nowhere to finish 3rd.  I wish that $5 EX back wheel would have hit with a 38/1 over a 32/1 but you can't win them all.  Good Luck at Arcadia today - the P6 c/o will bring out some bushelful's of cash to fire on this card.  TC
