We will see about Tell All.   I still think he is 2nd best 3 yr old to Always a Virgin.
AAV was flying late in the jug.     Tempo certainly should be listed below him.

Great list of horses here, all with great 2007 seasons. Sorry, there was no room for 2YOTF sensation, Snow White.

I respectfully disagree. Always A Virgin sat the pocket in the Jug, took no air and expended no energy, and couldn't even get up for place over the horse who came first up.

Further, based on the entire season's body of work, Southwind Tempo won two million dollar races...the Art Rooney and the Meadowlands Pace, Tell All won the million dollar plus NA Cup, the Jug, and was second in the Meadowlands Pace. Always A Virgin won the Cane Pace (and remember 2nd place finisher Southwind Lynx made a break in that one) and some relatively minor races and stakes elimination heats.

In my opinion Always A Virgin's press releases have been stronger than his racing performance. He's a fine horse, but the other two have been measurably better.

Still have more time left in the season.
Lexington, Messenger and Breeders Crown to decide the 3 yr old champ.

No knock on Tell All, I think he is tremendous.  29.2 second qrtr in the jug helped.
Always A Virgin did win in impressive fashion from post 8 in the Cane.
I think racing luck played  a big role in the jug.  But we still have 2 months to decide.

I always respect your opinion NJ, but you have admit AAVirgin is as consistent as they come.
He can race anyway you want.

AAV is a fine horse, but the other two have had better seasons to date, hence their higher positions in the Top Ten poll.

i disagree ,aav was a winner in the pace untill he went offstride.in the cane southwind lynx took two bad steps behind the gate and raced huge but still dont think he was beating aav.in the jug sears would have been second if he would have stayed at the rail ,tell all stole the race in the jug but thats racing.jmo

These are 3 very good horses who have each showed up big at various times of the year, the final few big races of the year should decide the 3 yr old of the year. Very close at this point.
MWG, I agree, Kevin Lare's Snow White has got to be close to cracking the top ten

Now there is a HEAD FULL of nothing geezer.

By the way NJ. How are those casino talks coming. Or how about the NJSBOA concerns. Or the NJRC or NJSEA or Monmouth Park with no clue as what to do for the Breeders Cup and the NJSP. Even had the BUDGET crisis. Remember if you had the GOLDEN BOY McErnuts there, he could HAVE solved the problem. But he took a BUYOUT. His ARSE was BOOTED out. And then fell into another bucket of sxxt Roll Eyes. Give you 1 and 1/2 pointsback on your players card. Or how about Flirtin Man going to the GATE DEAD in the Hambo on National TV at Bowel Movement Downs with John (what in the hell am I still doing out here) Campbell. Page 93 in Sept Hoof Beats for your READING PLEASURE.

Gee we waited 15 years for the NJRC to do SOMETHING. They did. The NJSP told them to go take a FLYING   F    doh     U.

Been an interesting month in KNEW JOOOEEEERRRRSSSSSEEEEYYYYY hasn't it NJ. You are probably better off in your GATED Community. All the well wishers from YOUR BOOK would like a PIECE of YOU.

Have a PLEASANT DAY crossedfingers.

That's not fair to judge him based on the trip.

He had to back out around the front two at the top of the stretch and then try to close on the shortest half mile stretch in the country.

2 hole trips are death at Delaware.

I blame the race more on Tetrick than the horse. And Tetrick really was stuck between a rock and a hard place.
